This guy lost $650,000 after his Metamask crypto wallet got hacked! Crypto wallet hack explained. Make sure you do not backup your Metamask seed phrase on your iCloud.

Domenic Iacovone had tweeted about how he got a phone call from the "Apple authorities" asking for a code and few minutes later his entire Metamask account got wiped out including his MAYC NFTs, Ape Coin and a lot more.

To turn your Metamask iCloud backup off:
Step 1: Go over to Metamask Settings
Step 2: Click on Profile and select iCloud 
Step 3: Go over to Manage storage
Step 4: Backups and uncheck the appropriate option
